Dealt with A Stick

Once upon a time in an Asian sub-continent village there lived a saint (Molvi).

Usually in asian villages specifically sub-continent, saints (Molvis) are waged very low around 3000 to 5000 rupees a month that literally translates just 30 to 50 USD deemed by society that the rest living for them be fulfilled by holy blessings.

Same thing happened to our saint of this story. He too, was having a tough time making ends meet.

Same village, lived a Land Lord with a kind heart. He always felt for the saint and one fine moment he gifted a piece of land to saint who started ploughing it with wheat crop.

Saint was so happy to see his field green and growing that he spent most of his time at the land.

One day, when crop was almost ready, a stray donkey happened to have his way wandering through field and eating the crop.

Worried, Saint sacrificed a hen, then a goat and even tried Quran recitations but nothing seemed working to make donkey wander off.

One day when the hopless saint watched donkey ruining his crop, another farmer happened to see all this, he approached saint and asked;

Farmer : " Salam (Salutations) Molvi Sahab (O Saint) why aren't you doing anything about the donkey destroying your hard work. "

Saint: " What else can I do brother, I tried sacrifices and Quraan recitations but nothing seems to works on this donkey. "

Farmer had a stick, he approached donkey, who was busy grazing; thrashed 2-3 with the stick.

Donkey ran like a deer in danger.

Farmer came back to Saint handing over the stick and said:

"Quran was not sent for Donkeys, they are meant to be Dealt with A STICK ".
